Set on five acres of beautifully landscaped grounds with an outdoor courtyard, Emeritus at Wilburn Gardens is one of Virginia's premier retirement communities. Located just off I-95, our senior living community offers 99 senior apartments on three floors. Here our residents — in many cases, with their pets — enjoy retirement living within a home-like setting. Yet a helping hand from our warm, caring staff — many of whom have been with us for at least five years — is always close by.
Strong, Caring Professional Relationships
Staff and administration at Emeritus at Wilburn Gardens are affiliated with many local community support organizations, often times sitting as board members, in an effort to educate and assist members of our community. It doesn’t matter if a senior in need is a resident of Emeritus or not, following our motto of “Safely Somewhere”, Emeritus employees continue to give to the community at large. Participation with the national Alzheimer’s Association and other local organizations such as Partners in Aging ensure that our experience and knowledge reach far beyond the walls of our building and help as many as possible.
Emeritus a Wilburn Gardens is staffed by a wonderful caring staff. Many have been with our residents for 6 or more years, with two of them having been employed since the grand opening in 1999. Many, many years of senior care experience is present at all levels of staff, from direct care the through administration. Staff training is an ongoing program at Emeritus, improving the ability of staff to improve the lives of our residents.
