Houston, Texas Senior Living Community
A Wonderful Lifestyle
As we age, we don’t lose our taste for good food, interesting experiences, family and laughter, or our desire to live in a comfortable, attractive home. After all, these are the things that make us who we are, and keep life vibrant and exciting.
Emeritus at Kingwood has its own Life Enrichment Director, whose only job is to find new social, recreational and cultural activities for our residents. Resident life stories are gathered and explored to help our Life Enrichment Director understand each resident’s interests and hobbies as a basis for choosing activities. Choices in social, cultural, educational, physical and creative activities are all strongly encouraged.
Our transportation is offered numerous times every week to enjoy attractions and events in the Kingwood community or exciting downtown Houston.
Strong, Caring Professional Relationships
Our goal is to connect with a network of trusted professionals in the community so we can be the ultimate resource provider, and help any senior in need of a solution. We have unique relationships with the Kingwood and Humble area hospitals, rehabilitation centers and medical providers because of our own skilled nursing facility and medical staff.
Also, we partner with a local rehabilitation provider who provides physical, occupational and speech therapy on site in our community.
Partnering with the Local Neighborhood Community
Not only is “Our Family Committed to Yours,” we also believe “Our Community is Committed to Yours.” We want to serve as a trusted resource for all seniors and their families seeking to understand and explore senior living, regardless of whether they choose to live with us.
We offer cultural, family-oriented, spiritual and educational gatherings, such as our monthly Memory Care support group. We’ll host regular informational seminars that cover topics such as financial solutions for senior living, or our Brain Health Lifestyle seminar. Being active in our local community gives us – and our residents – a true sense of purpose and connection.
Emeritus at Kingwood has an experienced Dining Services Director on staff who prepares three delicious and nutritious homemade meals every day, including multiple menu choices for every lunch and dinner.
Meals are served on china in a restaurant-style atmosphere so that residents can enjoy conversation with their company at their table while enjoying an exceptional culinary experience. Our community offers the perfect combination of sensational food and good companionship for every dining experience. We also love to carry on our residents’ family traditions. Special occasions, private birthday parties and anniversary parties are always welcome in our private dining room.
