Prospect Heights, Illinois Independent Living Community
Emeritus at Prospect Heights
Prospect Heights, IL 60070
This is the promise that the staff at Emeritus at Prospect Heights - and throughout Emeritus Senior Living communities has shared since 1995 - when our community first opened its doors. It's a simple promise to become extended family to the seniors entrusted in our care and to our retirees who have chosen our independent living community for its active lifestyle.
The Perfect Location
Set on acres of beautifully landscaped courtyards, gardens and a picturesque view of the Rob Roy golf course, Emeritus at Prospect Heights is considered one of the premier continuing care retirement communities in the Prospect Heights area. Stop by and enjoy a scenic walk with beautiful lakeside and courtyard views. Our Life Enrichment Director takes residents on daily field trips each week to local area restaurants, shopping centers, museums, stores, and much more. Another one of our field trips includes the “Tour of the Town” each Saturday where they can enjoy the sights – even seeing the old Chicago neighborhoods in which our Senior residents lived. Randhurst Mall is one mile west with movie theatres, clothing stores and restaurants. The location is also within 5 miles of three major hospitals: Northwest Community Hospital, Glenbrook Medical Center and Lutheran General. Our location is perfect for things to do, places to go and sights to see!
A Wonderful Selection
We have 3 beautiful model units for each size apartment choice. The amenities include: restaurant style dining 3 meals a day; wall to wall carpeting; individual heating and cooling systems in each apartment; window treatments; linens and sheets provided; month-to-month rental agreement and choice of apartment size.
Strong, Caring Professional Relationships
The professional affiliations we have include the local Chamber of Commerce, we provide informational seminars to help Registered Nurses. We are also affiliated with neighboring Rob Roy Independent Living community next door and write a column for the community newspaper, provide advertising on their golf score cards and conduct outdoor events a few times a year.
Each staff member treats our residents’ community as they should – they are working in the home of our senior residents so they act like guests being polite and accommodating to our residents. Our community has experienced turnover, however, the longevity of our committed staff who have a passion for quality care for seniors is evident. I tell potential residents that our staff is committed to the highest quality of care. They are there to be of service and are available by just pressing the alert button, whereby a page is sent to their Resident Assistant’s pager and they will be to their room as quickly as possible.
