How You Can Make Your Brain Healthier, Slow Potential Memory Loss

Live Internet Chat held with Leading National Brain Health Expert on Nov. 26

Every 68 seconds, another American develops Alzheimer’s disease, according to the Alzheimer’s Association. By 2050, another American will develop it every 33 seconds.

Individuals and families across America were invited to ask questions of a leading national expert on brain health on ways to increase cognitive fitness and delay the potential onset of memory loss. Emeritus Senior Living National Director of Brain Health Dr. Paul Nussbaum will hold a live Internet chat at 4 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. PT, Nov. 26.

Emeritus offers brain health programming designed by Dr. Nussbaum at its more than 470 senior living communities in 44 states. In addition to his position with Emeritus, Dr. Nussbaum is a clinical neuropsychologist and adjunct professor of neurological surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He is the author of “Save Your Brain.”

“While researchers continue to search for a cure or preventive measure for Alzheimer’s, the good news is that there are specific steps each of us can take right now to increase the health of our brain and slow the potential onset of memory loss,” Dr. Nussbaum said.
