Emeritus at Charleston Gardens is conveniently located in a quiet business park minutes to downtown, various banks and the post office, as well as Coonskin Park and Kanawha State Forest. Several medical facilities are nearby including CAMC, St. Francis and Thomas Hospitals. The community is located off Greenbrier Street near the state capital with easy access to Yeager Airport.

Emeritus at Charleston Gardens offers a home like setting and cheerful smiles from our caring professional staff that greets you everyday. We offer 95 private apartment homes on two floors with an elevator for easy access. There are many common areas such as TV room, lobby, activity room and beauty shop for residents to gather and enjoy. Our peaceful setting, restaurant style dining, transportation and activities programs that include shopping trips and outings combine to create a wonderful living environment everyday. We also offer on-site rehabilitation by Genesis Rehabilitation Services. Our staff prides itself on respecting the privacy and individuality of our residents while at the same time creating a real sense of community.

These include studio style, one bedroom, 2 bedroom and suites, all to suit any preference of lifestyle choice. Our peaceful setting, restaurant style dining, transportation and activities program combine to create a wonderful living environment everyday.

Strong, Caring Relationships

We have built great relationships with our local area hospitals and skilled nursing facilities. These include CAMC, St. Francis, Thomas Memorial hospitals, and many skilled facilities. We are next door to Genesis Oakridge Center who we work with very closely as many of our residents choose them due to their location in the event skilled care is needed. We communicate regularly with all of these facilities for our current and future residents needs.

Our Staff

Emeritus at Charleston Gardens management team has many years of combined experience in the senior living industry. Many of the management team members have worked together for several years. Some staff members have been with the community since the first year. We have friendly, caring staff who truly care about the resident. Our caring staff offers the assistance you need while respecting your independence.
