We take the time to get to know each resident and learn their interests; we generate activities around what they like. As a result, we have residents that enjoy participating in gardening, baking, drama club, water colors class and musicians that entertain us. We even have a few Wii fanatics among us. Of course we also have the usual services that all assisted living buildings have like assistance with activities of daily living (ADL) like bathing, dressing, housekeeping, laundry and so on.

Some of our residents have dementia and we try to couple them up with other residents that have dementia. Many times they strike up a close relationship and carry on a conversation all day long in the living room. With dementia, every day is a new adventure & even though they may have the same conversation, to them, it is new & fresh. Some of the residents may not be able to participate at that level, but that is OK, we have musicians come in several times a month & these residents light up & sing along with the band. There are puzzles available for all residents to put together in the lobby.
