Emeritus at Renton is the primary assisted living community to which skilled nursing and hospitals in the area choose to refer their patients. Before a resident moves in, we conduct home visits, so that we can tailor our care plan to their specific needs. Some of our residents live completely independently, while others need varying levels of care. As a result, we offer just about every assisted living service a resident may require, including daily assistance with bathing and dressing, dining assistance, transfer assistance from wheelchair to bed, help with reminders and redirection, escorts and assistance with walking and respite care. In addition, our trained med techs oversee our medication management program--an especially invaluable service for our residents with diabetes. Our med techs are responsible for checking blood sugar and doing insulin injections daily.
