A Wonderful Active Lifestyle
Whether our residents want to join in daily exercise, watch a movie, go on an outing or country drive, play games or create a masterpiece they can find it all during a typical week at Eagle Meadows. Residents and their families enjoy a Sweetheart Dance, Fashion show, Summer BBQ, Harvest Party and Holiday dinner each year. Every month we host a Sunday Buffet where residents are encouraged to invite their families and mingle with the many guests that join us.
Strong, Caring Professional Relationships
Our commitment to the care of our residents involves developing relationships with our local care managers and social workers at the various hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and senior centers. We maintain these relationships by visiting these facilities often and encouraging their staff to enjoy our monthly brunches and other activities. These relationships help facilitate easy transitions for our residents coming from or going to hospitals and rehab centers.
Partnering with the Local Neighborhood Community
Each year Spring Eagle Meadows works with Macy’s to put on a Senior Fashion show that includes our residents and local Senior Center members as the models. Residents and their families enjoy giving back to the community through food drives coordinated in conjunction with other communities in the area and the local food banks. During the holidays each year Eagle Meadows, along with the other senior communities in town, sponsors a Senior Giving Tree which provides gifts to local seniors who might otherwise not receive a gift.
Fine Dining
Our Dining Services Director has over 35 years’ experience, which shows in his ability to cater to special needs and diets while still serving quality meals. Eagle Meadows residents enjoy three home cooked meals a day that include choices from the menu. The mid-day meal always includes the choice between two different salads which are served before the main entree. Thursdays we have a special buffet that gives residents, who are able, a chance to go through line and choose their own food. As always, anyone can remain seated and be served at their table. On the third Sunday of each month we have a spectacular Buffet Brunch which includes many options and a beautifully created fruit tray that typically matches the holiday or season. Our dining staff is continually adding to their vegetarian menu as well.
