A Wonderful Active Lifestyle
Our residents are regularly found gathering in the rich and inviting living room enjoying the warmth of a freshly baked cookie with a good friend and neighbor. This is the heart of our senior living community where daily social activities and conversations are exchanged. Residents, family members and staff are often intertwined in lively conversation as you would find in any home. This is home after all. Independence and love of life's most simple and beautiful creations are appreciated and valued every day. Our residents are encouraged to take part in developing an activity program that appeals to each person’s individual needs. Road trips, shopping, musical groups and lively gaming are often favorites.
Daily activities are conceived, shaped and carefully honed to meet the needs of each and every resident involved. All holidays and beliefs are honored. Resident family members regularly come together with our Emeritus family, to enjoy plentiful food and good times. Day trips to apple orchards, pumpkin fields and drives around the beautiful town of Bellingham remain some of the most requested outings not withstanding the regular weekly run on the shopping shuttle! Activities that instill the feeling that each person has great value are felt to be most important. Residents lovingly wrap and present home baked cookies to our local police and fire brigade to make sure they know that their services are truly appreciated.
Active Community Relationships
Variety is more than spice in life, it is the key to a vibrant and healthy community both for our residents and all of those involved in making Fairhaven and the City of Bellingham continue to be one of our country’s most desired places to live. Our events are carefully chosen to be of great value to all involved. We seek to entertain, educate and support each resident, their family and the community at large.
Bellingham Senior Center is one of the best you will find, and our residents often frequent their breakfasts, lunches and evenings of entertainment. Fundraising to keep them operating to full potential is a priority for us. Our local Chamber of Commerce vigorously keeps its members activated in support of this very unique community.

Fine Dining
Three home cooked meals are served restaurant style every day in our spacious and elegant dining room. Breakfast offers varying choices of hot and cold cereal, eggs many ways, breakfast meats, pancakes, waffles and more. Lunches are the big meal of the day with a full salad bar. Dinner tends to be lighter with soups, sandwiches and lots of "fun" food. Deserts are made fresh and enjoyed daily. We use only the freshest raw ingredients, and packaged food of any kind is kept to a bare minimum. Food is one of the simplest forms of enjoyment and we take our food seriously and often!
