The Perfect Location

Emeritus at Ridgewood Gardens sits atop a hill surrounded by the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, and it is within two miles of Roanoke, Virginia, with all its abundant shopping, cultural and community events.

Our community provides at least weekly outings to take advantage of all the surrounding attractions. We are also conveniently located across Route 419 from the Lewis Gale Medical Center, if ever needed.

A Wonderful Selection

Emeritus at Ridgewood Gardens offers a variety of floor plans to meet the individual needs of our residents. These include one-bedroom, studio, deluxe studio apartments, and friendship suites.

The common areas of Emeritus at Ridgewood Gardens are located at the center of the building to allow the residents easy access to events such as restaurant-style dining, physical exercise programs, planned activities, and the library. The beauty salon and barber shop are located on the first floor, adjacent to the therapy room. Our Country Kitchen is available to the residents and families for intimate dining and social events. Washer and dryers are available on site for residents and their families to use, as well as the option for Emeritus at Ridgewood to provide personal laundry services.

Porches across the front of our community and the patios across the back are available for the residents to enjoy the fresh air and scenery.

Emeritus at Ridgewood Gardens is a highly respected assisted living community with associations with the local hospitals, physician offices, adult day care, skilled nursing facilities, other assisted living communities, home health agencies, hospice services, insurance companies, geriatric assessment agencies, and religious organizations. Emeritus at Ridgewood Gardens is proud of the longevity of our employees! We have team members who have been with our community since it opened its doors and welcomed its first residents in 1998.

We are also fortunate to have licensed nurses and resident care assistants at Emeritus at Ridgewood Gardens who staff our community 24/7. The true measure of our success is evident when watching the interaction of our staff with our residents. The staff has very close relationships with our residents and their families, and can anticipate their needs.
