Set on beautifully landscaped grounds with a courtyard and lovely gardens, Emeritus at Ridgewood Gardens is considered one of Roanoke Valley's most innovative senior living communities. Located close to Highway 419, our community offers 74 apartments on three floors. Here our residents — in many cases, with their pets — enjoy retirement living. Yet should you need a helping hand from our well trained, courteous and caring staff, we also offer complete assisted living services, tailor-made to your needs. Our services focus on wellness to help you maintain your health, so you can live as independently as possible.

Our common areas — including our lovely dining room and sitting area with fireplace — give residents and their loved ones the opportunity to get to know one another. We also offer a wide range of activities each month, including parties, exercise classes and off-site excursions. Our assisted living and retirement community offers wonderful views overlooking Roanoke Valley and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Yet it is conveniently located in an urban area, near a shopping mall, most major banks, restaurants, Salem Park and the Salem Civic Center. Emeritus at Ridgewood Gardens is also across the street from Lewis Gale Hospital and close to a nursing home rehabilitation facility if ever needed.
