Emeritus Estates offers complete assisted living services, tailor-made for each resident’s needs. Our services focus on wellness to help residents maintain or improve their health, so they can live as independently as possible.

Before a resident moves in, our nurse performs a thorough assessment of his or her health concerns. This is combined with physician orders, a medical history, list of medications and other important information to create a care plan personalized to the resident’s specific needs.

During the first few days, we check on new residents frequently to be sure we have assessed their needs appropriately. To assist us, we use a state-of-the-art computerized assessment system, called “weCare,” which helps us accurately capture, evaluate, predict and monitor the appropriate assisted living services for each resident. This program allows our care staff to spend less time doing paperwork, and more time with our residents. It also ensures that residents are only paying for the services they need and want.

The ultimate goal in assisted living is to help residents maintain the independence and freedom they had at home, while providing a safety net and a helping hand when they need it.

Alzheimer's and Dementia Care Services

Our community offers an innovative memory care program, Join Their Journey®, for seniors affected by Alzheimer's or dementia. Because your family's experience will be unlike any other, our goal is to get to know you and your loved one, so that we can offer support and solutions for your individual situation. We "join the journey" of our residents by recognizing individuality, encouraging choices and allowing them the dignity to live in a secure, personalized and familiar setting that feels comfortable for them.

Our newly remodeled Memory Care neighborhood was designed specifically to provide a more intimate environment for our residents with memory impairment.

Our memory care program includes structured activities that help promote memory, and help bring meaning and purpose to our residents’ daily lives. We also involve residents in physical exercises to keep their muscles toned and flexible. Our program is designed for people with all abilities; we simply adapt the activity to the individual so that we are able to include everyone regardless of their physical or mental health limitations.
