Eugene Ruf’s advice for a long life is, “Good clean living. Good clean living is Heaven Hill (vodka) and Budweiser.” And Mr. Ruf should know.

On Thursday, April 19, Mr. Ruf, will turn 103 years old. He was born in New York City on April 19, 1909, and moved to San Antonio in the 1960s.

He is currently a beloved long-time resident at Emeritus at Oakwell Farms, an assisted living and memory care community, in San Antonio, Texas.
