Alzheimer's and Memory Care Services and Amenities
At Emeritus at Hamilton House in San Antonio, Texas we have a memory care neighborhood that is specifically designed for those suffering from dementia & Alzheimer's. Our program is called “Join Their Journey,” where our main intention is to discover and learn everything about our resident’s life story so we can develop a specific therapeutic plan of memory care. Our staff members are trained and oriented continually on how to best engage a resident that is experiencing memory difficulty. At Emeritus at Hamilton House, it's our partnership with the families that enables us to provide superior activity-focused care. Lastly, our parent company, Emeritus Senior Living, incorporates the support and expertise of the nationally recognized clinical neuropsychologist, Dr. Paul Nussbaum, to ensure that we offer a brain healthy lifestyle for our seniors.
