We are centrally located in North East San Antonio near several shopping centers, banking, and a wide variety of restaurants. We are within 5 miles of several hospitals and physicians. At Emeritus at Amber Oaks, we plan our activity program around our residents’ interests. We encourage our residents to participate in our activities, because we know socialization is a key part of enriching their quality of life.

We are located in the heart of the North East portion of San Antonio, which is known for its rich culture and outdoor activities. Our retirees enjoy outings to nearby historic cities such as Fredericksburg, Boerne, Gruene, and New Braunfels. Some of our day trips include fishing on the Blanco River, antique shopping, and going to the Fiesta River Parade, San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, and the San Antonio Zoo to name a few.

A Wonderful Selection

Our senior independent living community offers studio, one bedroom, and two bedroom senior apartments. You may choose from private suites as well as affordable companion living. Our spacious senior apartments range from 435 sq ft to 800 sq ft. All senior apartments include kitchenettes, private bathrooms, large closets, cabinets, and individualized climate control. Strong, Caring Professional Relationships

Emeritus at Amber Oaks partners with many organizations in the surrounding community. Our wellness department provides assistance to our residents by referring them to home health, physical therapy, medical equipment companies, and physicians, as health care needs change.

Our Staff

Emeritus at Amber Oaks promotes a family atmosphere which has resulted in the longevity of our staff members. Our management staff is comprised of professionals that have worked in the senior health industry for decades. We pride ourselves in monthly trainings with our staff to ensure the best possible care for our residents.
