Alzheimer's and Dementia Care Services
Join Their Journey® is our community’s approach to Alzheimer's and memory care needs. Our program starts with accumulating the life story of each resident in our care. The life story board displayed outside of each resident room is a tool for our staff to join the resident’s journey and to honor the residents that we care for. Educational opportunities for family members and professionals alike are available through our monthly support group, our caregiver tips and our resource library. We also work closely with our local Alzheimer’s Association chapter as a national sponsor of the annual Memory Care Walk.
Short-Stay Respite
In addition, our short-stay respite gives you or a loved one the opportunity to live at our community on a "trial basis" without making a major move or commitment. This is an outstanding option should a caregiver want a break or need to travel on business.
Senior Day Programs
Your loved one may simply need assistance during the day. In this case, be sure to ask us about our specialized Senior Day Programs, which offers health services tailored to your loved ones special needs. He or she will also benefit from the same activities program we make available to all of our residents, including exercise classes and outings on the bus. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided.
