Emeritus at Vickery Towers is nestled in a very unique area of historic East Dallas, with spectacular views of the Dallas skyline. Our perfect location is in close proximity to the arboretum, affording our residents a beautiful outdoor space in which to enjoy both the beauty and healthful benefits of nature within the city.

The Vickery Towers location is also ideally situated to the nearby Dallas Museum of Art and only eight miles from the Dallas Mavericks’ American Airlines Center. Shopping is conveniently located at the nearby North Park Mall and an assortment of dining choices, including Tex-Mex, Italian, classic American and seafood can be found within walking distance on Greenville Avenue. Additionally, both the SMU campus and the prestigious Baylor Medical Complex is only five miles from our site, with Presbyterian Hospital also nearby. Also Emeritus at Vickery Towers is situated just minutes away from the Central Expressway, making travel for visits from family and friends convenient.

A Wonderful Selection

At Emeritus at Vickery Towers, we offer a variety of different accommodations in our independent living community that are guaranteed to meet everyone's needs! Floor plans vary from spacious studios to two-bedroom, two-bathroom plans that are more than 1150 square feet.

Our independent living community also offers a unique type of accommodation called “friendship living.” This option is perfect for someone that loves developing new friends and longs for companionship. No matter what option best suits our residents, they will find a warm, welcoming atmosphere at Vickery Towers in beautiful surroundings. Located on eight acres, there is a large outdoor space with huge oak trees and walking areas in the courtyard.

Strong, Caring Professional Relationships

At Emeritus at Vickery Towers, residents can receive a variety of therapies to enhance their physical health and mental well-being. Our community is partnered with Weston Therapy Group, with offices located within the Vickery Towers facility. An office of Southwest Home Health is also located here. Through our partnerships with these local providers, we are able to offer our seniors a range of services, including physical, speech, and occupational therapies; hospital and rehabilitative services; and both home health and hospice care.

Our Staff

Each senior community within Emeritus is its own unique, locally run business, as well as being part of a national family. Our staff is dedicated to providing the same outstanding level of care as the loving families of our residents. At Emeritus, “Our family is committed to yours.” With that promise, comes the responsibility to guarantee that we have the most compassionate, educated and nurturing staff to fulfill our commitment to our seniors. Emeritus at Vickery Towers is proud of our fulfillment of that commitment. We have many nurses and support staff who have been at this location for years, some more than a decade. In addition to their specialized caregiving skills, each staff member is an understanding listener who is responsive to the needs of our residents, and who takes pride in the community. Most importantly, ALL of our staff members are compassionate individuals, dedicated to making a difference in the lives of seniors.
