Set on beautifully landscaped grounds with a courtyard, Emeritus at Dowlen Oaks is considered one of the premier assisted living and memory care communities in Southeast Texas. Located just off one of Beaumont's prime locations — Dowlen Road — our community serves seniors in the Golden Triangle area, including Beaumont, Port Arthur, and Orange.

Our apartments — 76 units total on two floors — are much more spacious than other assisted living communities in the area. Here our residents — in many cases, with their pets — enjoy retirement living. Yet should you need a helping hand from our staff, who are always willing to go above and beyond for residents, we also offer complete assisted living services, tailor-made to your needs. Our services focus on wellness to help you maintain your health, so you can live as independently as possible.

Our community also offers an innovative memory care program, Join Their Journey®, for seniors affected by memory loss issues. Our common areas — including our lovely dining room, TV room, library and activities center — give residents and their loved ones the opportunity to get to know one another. We also offer a wide range of activities each month, including exercise classes, clubs and community outings. Dowlen Oaks is conveniently located in an urban area near Parkdale Mall, Super HEB, Wal-Mart, Kroger, Texas State Bank, many restaurants, churches and Rogers Park. We are also just 60 miles from Lake Sam Rayburn. Several medical facilities are also in the vicinity, including Christus St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital and a nursing home rehabilitation facility if ever needed.
