The Perfect Location

Emeritus at Vista Oaks is a premier assisted living community located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Our community is conveniently located one mile from State Route 620 and Highway 71, and we are just 16 miles from Austin – the capitol of Texas.

Emeritus at Vista Oaks is nestled among the stunning lakes and parks of the Lakeway area. These include Lake Travis – the most beautiful and clearest lake in central Texas – as well as Canyonlands Trails, Lakeway City Park, Dragon Park, Hamilton Greenbelts, Heritage Park, Hurst Creek Preserve, Porpoise Park, and the Smith Greenbelt.

We have many opportunities for off-site activities and excursions nearby. Not only do we have great places to shop at the Hill Country Galleria, but this shopping locale also hosts musical and cultural events throughout the year. In addition, many of our residents attend the nearby Lakeway Ecumenical Church and Emmaus Catholic Church, which provide musical devotionals.

If ever needed, the Seton Family of Hospitals and Westlake Medical Center are close to our community, and the Lakeway Regional Medical Center is coming soon to our area.

A Wonderful Selection

As you arrive under the portico at Emeritus at Vista Oaks, you are surrounded by clean, well-manicured landscaping and a lovely front porch area where residents often enjoy relaxing or visiting with friends and family.

Upon walking through the front doors, our beautiful great room welcomes you. The interior courtyard offers a peaceful view of a putting green and our lovely outdoor dining area.

Emeritus at Vista Oaks is a one-story community which makes it safe and easy to navigate. Each room is private and has a small kitchen area – complete with a refrigerator, freezer and microwave. All meals, cable television, utilities, maid services are included. There is an emergency call system located in the bathroom and bedroom, and each resident has a call pendant.

Emeritus at Vista Oaks has two neighborhoods – each with a fine dining room, a wellness area for daily exercise classes, and a great room with a floor-to-ceiling Texas Stone fireplace.

Our community offers a warm, home-like atmosphere, as well as around-the-clock medical care, including physical, occupational and speech therapy.

Strong, Caring Professional Relationships

At Emeritus at Vista Oaks, we have a trusted physician, podiatrist and dentist who make regular visits to the community to provide care to our residents. We have also developed relationships with a number of the local health-care providers so we can provide a seamless continuum of care to our residents should they need specialized medical attention. We provide transportation for our residents to their doctor appointments.

The Lakeway area has several respected hospitals in the area, and, this spring, Lakeway Regional Medical Center is scheduled to open just two miles from our community.

Emeritus at Vista Oaks has a dedicated and experienced staff that is passionate about caring for seniors. Our wonderful staff is caring, courteous, friendly, loyal – and they treat our residents like part of their family. We are proud of the longevity of our team members, some of whom have been with the community since it opened in 1999.
