We would have never known that in our midst there was an author with as many accolades as our own Esther Perkins. This resident who we call our own was the first female Baptist pastor in the state of South Carolina! This is something that we would have never known by her quiet demeanor and soft smile.
She finally worked up the nerve to share her book with one of the employees and we could not be more proud to have Mrs. Perkins among us, setting an example and achieving such high goals.
Lexington Gardens is proud and pleased to share Mrs. Ester Perkins, the first Baptist female pastor in the state of South Carolina!

Grillmaster Chuck's Christmas Barbecue!

Our very own Charles “Chuck” Weaver treated the staff to an outstanding barbeque in honor of Christmas.
When we asked that Chuck cater the event we had no idea he was planning to show up with such a MASSIVE grill
That grill did the trick!! We all filled our bellies with his signature tender & tasty BBQ chicken, and enjoyed the fried fish that he whipped up for us as well!
