Assisted Living Services
Hawthorne Inn provides services designed especially for our residents. We have 24-hour on site staff, a full time nurse, full activities program, scheduled shopping and dining trips along with transportation to local doctors, a state of the art emergency call system, basic Cable is included as well as all utilities except phone. Our caring and professional Housekeeping and Maintenance Department provide weekly housekeeping and apartment maintenance. As Part of Emeritus senior Living, we enjoy providing local individualized services backed by a national organization, which allows access to a vast resources and expertise. We are also pet friendly!
Alzheimer's and Dementia Care Services
Hawthorne Inn provides a unique Memory Care/Alzheimer neighborhood for residents diagnosed with dementia utilizing the Emeritus “Join Their Journey” philosophy providing comfort and dignity for every resident.
Amenities
Apartments:
- Studios: small, medium and large. Largest studios have wet bar
- Full bathroom with walk-in shower
- Basic cable included in rent
- Furniture available if needed: Single bed, Armoire, bedside table, comfortable chair, and dresser
Activities:
- Full range of holistic activities that focus on the Centers of Wellness
- Qualified Activity Director who is also a Geriatric and Dementia Specialist
- Specialized Join Their Journey programming for our Memory Care Residents
- Service projects such as Alzheimer’s Fund Raising, and providing healthy lunches for local soup kitchen
- Trips to local areas of interest, shopping and doctor appts.
Rehabilitation services:
- On site rehabilitation with Weston Therapy Group providing PT, OT and ST under Medicare Part B
Specialized dementia-related activities including:
- Full range of activities throughout the day and evening
- Join Their Journey programming
- Snacktivity: Where residents participate in cooking snacks and then enjoying them
- Physical, emotional, spiritual, social, and mental activities that enhance our residents daily routines
Personalized care plan for each resident that may include:
- Specialized WeCare program that individualizes the needs of our residents.
- Also have the Personal Care Program, assisting with incontinency. Excellent product available
- Individualized care and services
Senior care services:
- Able to utilize Home health services as well as Hospice to allow our residents to age in place.
