Monthly Hawthorne Inn hosts a variety of resident and family events ranging from ice cream socials to blue grass concerts keeping strong the residents ties to their local community.
Fine Dining
We have a wonderful menu with choices, as well as an “Anytime menu” with specialty items that are always available to our residents. Our cozy dining rooms are located on each neighborhood adding to the home like and friendly experience of Hawthorne Inn. Our Dining Services Department takes pride in cooking wonderful and healthy meals with style and service. We offer a special restaurant area where families may enjoy a family get together and meal with their loved ones where we can cater the special meal (i.e. birthdays, anniversaries, or just a special family meal).
Our Dining Services Director, Robert Kelly, also serves as a Senior Dining Services Director for Emeritus. He has a vast background and is an award winning Certified Chef with many other culinary honors.
During each month, our Dining Services Director performs a spotlight chef presentation for our residents, where he will cook a special dish in our beautiful Town Square with our residents. Examples of some of his creations are Shrimp Scampi and Bananas Foster.
