With its intimate atmosphere, our assisted living area not only promotes stronger and closer friendships, but also more personalized care. As an Emeritus community, we have access to wE care, a state-of-the-art computerized resident evaluation tool. This allows us to accurately evaluate and monitor all of the personalized services provided to those who live with us. Moreover, wE Care helps our staff create a plan of care based on the resident’s needs, wants and preferences, along with the frequency of services provided.

Strong, Caring Professional Relationships:

Over the years, Emeritus at Anderson Place has become known as one of the leaders of senior living care in this region of South Carolina. Part of this comes from having outstanding partnerships with all kinds of local health-care providers, including AnMed Health Medical Center, which is just minutes from our community and employs more than 400 physicians. In addition, a geriatric physician and nurse practitioner visit our assisted living and skilled nursing residents weekly, and we offer onsite physical, speech and occupational therapy services. We also work closely with a wide range of other senior care professionals – from home health agencies to hospice providers, ensuring that residents receive the highest quality medical care. Ultimately, our goal to make sure that our residents’ full range of medical needs are taken care of, right here in their own home.

Skilled Nursing:

Emeritus at Anderson Place offers a beautiful upscale skilled nursing unit as part of our excellent continuing care setup. With a smaller 44-bed facility and an experienced team of clinicians, therapists and physicians, we have the unique ability to provide more personalized, quality care to our residents. In addition, Emeritus at Anderson Place is now offering Medicare-certified skilled nursing services for residents requiring short-term rehabilitation following a hospital stay. Whether short- or long-term nursing care, our goal is to help our residents function at the highest level possible, helping ensure quality of life.
