Senior Living Activities

Life Enrichment

The Life Enrichment Program at Emeritus was designed to add joy, purpose and meaning to the lives of our residents. At Emeritus, our approach to life enrichment means offering retirement activities and programs that reflect the talents, interests and personalities of the residents in each of our senior living communities, while also offering new experiences that will challenge them and keep them mentally healthy.

Special Events and Brain-Health Programs

Emeritus life enrichment directors plan a variety of exciting and educational events throughout the year, ranging from brain health fairs to Fourth of July barbecues to Thanksgiving feasts. The goal is to keep our residents socially engaged and provide their families the opportunity to learn and celebrate with them.

The primary goal of our life enrichment staff is to plan activities that are fun for residents, while also promoting brain health. Emeritus Senior Living retirement activities incorporate all the chief components of brain health, including the nutritional, social, spiritual, physical and intellectual aspects of mental well-being. The result is a wide variety of stimulating programs for our residents, include Walking Club, Game Club, Tai Chi, Yoga, dance classes, guest speakers and excursions to cultural events, just to name a few.

Our goal is to support your loved one in being purposeful and successful each day. We use the detailed Life Story to understand your loved ones hobbies, careers and interests and then turn these ideas into activities in which they can participate in every day.
