Hemet California Seniors Enjoyed their Spring Fling Celebration

We celebrated the beautiful warm weather with our 2nd Spring Fling. We had music, food, vendors and vistors. The highlight of the party was of course the visit from the Easter Bunny and the Egg Hunt.

The Memory Care residents hid over 500 eggs, six of them golden which held tickets for prizes. It was so much fun to watch the residents look for places to hide the eggs. And the smiles on their faces when the kids found them was priceless. We held our Alzhiemer's Walk for the Cure bake sale to raise money for our walk - this is always a Big Hit.

Also we had Thunder, the mascot from our local Minor League Baseball team here, to greet the kids also. He makes an appearance at all our big parties. He loves dancing with the residents. Our next big family event will be our 8th Annual Classic Car show, which is our biggest event. If you happen to be in the area on June 8th, stop by Emeritus at Hemet and say "Hello", and enjoy a fun day with family and fun.

Emeritus at West Side Manor Feeds Local Seniors

Our residents at West Side Manor decorated containers, and presented 31 meals to a local senior daycare center for them to bring home for dinner.

We attached an Easter card and really enjoyed the opportunity to give back to our local senior center.

Our Life Enrichment Director Sue Ansaldo drove the Emeritus bus filled with meals, our Asst. Dining Services Director, and a few residents all decked out in bunny ears.

Members at Silverfox Senior Center were so thankful for the meals. We were even greeted by a huge sign welcoming West Side Manor at the front door. [ Read more ]

Brentmoor Senior Living is Committed Feeding Nutritious Meals to Seniors

Brentmoor Assited Living delivered 50 meals to seniors on Friday.

Chef Jackie prepared a feast of lasagna, salad and dessert for the seniors to dine on. Kim Mathwich, our ED, helped Chef Jackie serve the meals and both were an integral part of making the event a success.

We had a wonderful time meeting new friends, seeing several smiles and hearing so many seniors say "thank yous."
