Terrace at Woodstock Residents Mentor Carmel Elementary 1st Grade Students!

First Rate Volunteers Mentor 1st Graders

The Terrace at Woodstock's residents came together and developed a Volunteer Committee. This committee consists of residents that love to volunteer their time.

Every month some of the volunteers go to help mentor Mrs. Smith's first grade class! Both the students and the residents look forward to this event every month! The students remember our residents' names and welcome them with tons of hugs every time!

One of the little boys in the class said to our resident, "I'm going to go home and put this Santa ornament on my tree to remember YOU!"

She was so touched and will never forget that moment! We look forward to many more trips to Carmel Elementary!
