Emeritus at Wayne Hosts “Culinary Therapy” Fundraiser Sept. 22

Chef Cardie Cooks up delicious fare and laughs to benefit Alzheimer’s Assoc.

Wayne, N.J. – Sept. 5, 2011 -- "Laughter is indeed the best medicine." That’s why Emeritus at Wayne, a senior living community, is hosting “Culinary Therapy with Chef Cardie” on Thursday, Sept. 22, from 5-6:30 p.m. The public is invited to come enjoy Chef Cardie’s one-of-a-kind humor as he presents an entertaining cooking demonstration, served with a side of stories and laughter. Entry to the event is only a $5 donation which will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.

"Culinary Therapy" is designed to leave residents, families, staff and community members with a sense of inner happiness, peace and contentment. Chef Cardie will create a three-course "tasting" menu, and guests will be entered into a drawing for the golden ticket to sample the food.
