Emeritus at Springtree Walks to End Alzheimer's

On Saturday March 19th Emeritus at Springtree participated in the 2011 “Walk to End Alzheimer's” Memory Walk. Our team was comprised of 26 participants; our managers, our staff, family members, and even our RDO came out to support the cause. It was a beautiful morning, set on Hollywood Beach, watching the sunrise, everyone was in high spirits and pumped up ready to go in our Emeritus blue shirts.

Emeritus at Springtree had the opportunity to set a corporate booth front and center which allowed us to showcase different aspects of our Join Their Journey Program, such as an example of our residents’ shadow boxes, activity kit, lifestory, and Caregiver Tip Articles. Our team was able to raise over $1000 in the community through bake sales, pizza parties, and even our Memory Care Director compiling a cookbook with staff and managers’ favorite recipes. It was a hit!
