Assembly Member Richard Pan Visits Emeritus at Folsom

On June 17, 2011, Assembly Member Richard Pan visited our community. He was accompanied by his scheduler, Bernadette Lawrence, as well as his Senior Field Representative Robert Abelon.

We discussed issues around Assembly Bills 419 (Annual Inspections), 1142 (Admission Agreement Safeguard), and 40 (Elder Abuse Reporting). Assembly Member Richard Pan provided updates on the 3 bills, and then took input from where our Assisted Living Industry stands. We took a tour of the community, discussed services, costs, long term care insurance, and Care Over Real Estate concept (CORE).

During the visit, our guests met with residents, family members, and team members along the way. We visited Model apartments in both our Assisted Living and Memory Care Neighborhood areas.

We appreciate the time spent with Assembly Member Richard Pan during his visit to our community. Moving forward, we hope to be a resource for Assembly Member Pan as he deals with issues affecting our industry.
