There's No Stopping Fairwood Manor!
Neither rain, nor sleet, nor gusts of wind were going to stop Fairwood Manor from participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer's on Saturday, November 12th.
As we set up our table and gathered our walking team the wind was blowing and the clouds were threatening. With a big team of walkers made up of children, grandchildren, and even a few great-granchildren as well as friends we had a great time at the walk.
Spirits were high because we were celebrating the lives of many who are effected by this disease.
We listened to music, help decorate with flowers in honor of our many loved ones affected by Alzheimer's disease. It was a wonderful experience to help raise awareness and money for such worthwhile cause.
In spite of all of the stormy weather, we were graced with the warmth of the sun came the calmed winds just in time for the Alzheimer's Memory Walk.
We were all grateful for the many people we are able to love and care for, as well as their families and their tireless efforts.
