The Perfect Location

West Side Manor is in a perfect location because our residents can stay active by walking to the nearby mall, which is less than 3 blocks away. We are also located right across the road from a hospital for all their medical needs. Emeritus at West Side Rochester is located in a country like settling. Each and every room has a wooded view. Residents can put up bird feeds, etc. We have lots of wildlife. We have a great relationship with the local fire department. They come in and do blood pressure checks monthly. We also do a fireman's breakfast to thank them for all of their support.

A Wonderful Selection

Emeritus at West Side Rochester is very homey. We have had several people that have toured a newer facility down the road but still move into our senior living community. We pride ourselves in giving good, quality care. We have several staff members that have their own family members living here. Our small, 72 room building is located near everything but seems to be away in a country-like setting. We have several benches and places to sit in front of the building.

Strong, Caring Professional Relationships

We have a relationship with a local doctor's office that works with people over 65 years of age. The doctor and PA come to West Side Manor to do office visits scheduled 2 times a month and whenever they are needed. We also have a great working relationship with Unity Hospital, which is located right across the road.

Our Staff

Our staff is a great. Our director, Heather Weber, has been working here for the past 24 years. We also have a med tech that has been here for over 30 years. The staff has great longevity and it’s because the staff becomes like family with the residents.
