Rochester Retirement Community

A Wonderful Place to Live

At Emeritus at West Side Rochester, our activity director, Melody Roberge, has been providing activities that keep the residents active and excited for over 15 years. Our activities include functions inside and outside of our senior living community. Additionally we have a 16 passenger van that helps transport the residents for outside activities. West Side Rochester provides many activities. We have a full time director and a part time weekend worker. We encourage the exercise program, have several churches that come in to do church services, and go to the casinos and local parks for picnics. We play Bingo, make cookies, do scrapbooking—it’s way too much to mention in just one paragraph.

Active Community Relationships

Emeritus at West Side Rochester has and always will be involved with local agencies and businesses. We have a great relationship with the local fire department, police department and Girl Scouts of America and are committed to the local community. Additionally we host a variety of support groups as well as participating in community events and always encourage community members, families and residents to attend and participate in our meetings.

Meals are offered in a family atmosphere so the residents can enjoy each others company and conversation while savoring a delectable meal!
