Memory Games

Brain fitness exercises and memory games can help the brain stay sharp well into old age.[1] Examples include the following exercises:

Conversation

By engaging in a discussion with others for at least 15 minutes a day, an individual is listening to others and coming up with thoughtful responses to keep the brain on its toes.[1]

Crossword puzzles

A crossword puzzle is a logical activity that tests the mind, and if practiced at least a couple of times a week, can keep the mind fit.[1]

Eat with both hands

Since the mind is so used to a person eating with one hand, switching it up will cause the mind to really focus.[1]
