Assisted Living Centers

An assisted living center provides care for seniors who need some help with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, toileting, eating, grooming, and moving around, but want to stay independent.[1] Residences aim at delivering services such as meals, transportation assistance, and housekeeping within a homelike atmosphere which may range from individual rooms to apartments.[2] Although assisted living centers provide many services to residents, medical care is often limited to medication management and arranging medical and dental appointments.[2] Those seeking advanced medical services may want to consider a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation facility.
