Sellwood Landing Community Testimonials

Sellwood Landing is a wonderful Emeritus community. The facility itself is beautiful and has a lovely layout and design. Everything is very resident-friendly and easily accessible. I like that everything in the facility is not too spread out and how it doesn't take the residents forever to get form point A to point B. I have seen Emeritus facilities that are laid out like this and it can be very discouraging to the residents, especially those with walkers or canes. In some cases the residents won't participate in activities and things because it takes them forever to walk there. At least in this facility, everything is pretty close to everything else. The facility also has some amazing views of the Cascades, Mount Hood, Willamette River and Portland, especially from the higher floors. I

There are many activities and events scheduled for the residents to choose from and they also go on really fun field trips, to the casino, the beach, etc. and on every Monday the residents get to decide where they would like to go eat lunch. There are many opportunities for the residents to stay busy.

There are also many amenities available for the residents and many common areas for them to enjoy, They have this Coke-a-Cola Room that is decorated really cutely, the residents always have ice cream socials, birthday parties, and fun events in there. The residents also always tell me how good the food is there and how much they love dining together. All of the residents seem to have a lot of fun with each other and get along together.

I would feel very comfortable with my loved ones living at Sellwood, it really seems like an exciting, safe, and friendly place to call home, with a loving care team who treats everyone equally and with respect. I really hope that care givers choose to visit this facility.
