Our care plans are reviewed every 90 days to ensure that we are up to date with the needs of the resident. In addition, our staff is always vigilant – they are the eyes and ears of our community. Should they see something amiss with a resident, they will share their concerns from shift to shift, so that issues regarding our residents’ health don’t fall through the cracks. As a member of the Emeritus family of senior living communities, we are diligent in respecting the independence, dignity and privacy of our residents. We see ourselves as an apartment community, where each resident can come and go as they please, where everyone knocks on each other’s doors and each person has their own mailbox – with one major difference. As residents age and their health declines, we are here to offer a safety net. We provide assistance as needed, but always strive to help residents maintain as much choice in their lives as possible – the one luxury of their younger years that seniors can easily lose when their health diminishes.
