Our activity center, the Buckeye Room, is organized for hobbies, crafts, and other activities. There is a walking trail for outdoor exercise, and a beautifully landscaped outdoor courtyard and patio for the relaxation of the residents. HillenVale participates in many community events and often hosts them.

HillenVale offers complete social, cultural and recreational programs along with a fitness and exercise program. There are outings to local attractions, cultural events, and other planned services. All major holidays are celebrated with family and friends.

Partnering with the Community

We have weekly exercise programs open to the greater community as well as our own community Bingo once a month. We host many local community group meetings and supply them with refreshments and meeting areas. Our residents interact with these groups and benefit from the programs as well as the participants from the outside community.

HillenVale is committed to the Mt. Vernon community, participating in a variety of events that help to nurture the spirit of the people of Mt. Vernon and surrounding areas. Many community meetings are held in the beautiful commons area of our senior community.

Fine Dining

We serve three homemade delicious meals daily with an evening snack cart delivered right to the resident. Family and friends are always invited to join their loved one for a lovely dinner.
