We offer a wonderful blend of social programs that enhance the mind, body and spirit. We have weekly shopping trips, lunch outings, educational programs, weekly entertainment, exercise, spa treatments, gardening, Bingo and parties - we are so much more than your average assisted living community.

At Emeritus at Mentor the emphasis is on wellness. We have a daily exercise program, a monthly wellness clinic, special hydration stations and a focus on healthy eating. We have daily activities that encompass the hobbies and interests of our residents. The holidays are always special in our community, especially our annual "trick or treat street" where neighborhood kids visit our residents door to door! There is always something to do or entertainment to enjoy. We remain a very active community.

Partnering with the Community

Emeritus at Mentor is a vital part of the Lake County community. We sponsor the local golf outing for the Lake County Council on Aging; we fundraise and walk for the Cleveland Chapter of the Alzheimer Association and remain active with the Mentor Chamber of Commerce and ASA, the American Specialist in Aging. We also host the local Parkinson's support group and Alzheimer support group for Lake County residents.

Emeritus at Mentor is an active participant in many local events. We are a member of the Mentor Chamber of Commerce; we help support the Lake County Council on Aging and participate in the annual Alzheimer Walk. We also like to have fun! We have an annual snow ball dance; a summer garden party and a yearly Oktoberfest.

At Emeritus at Mentor, our dining service is second to none. Enjoy three delicious meals in our elegant dining room prepared by local chefs. Choose from a variety of entrees or select from over ten alternate choices for that perfect meal. Invite your family and friends to dine with you, or make it a special event and let us do the catering. Homemade never tasted so good!
