Independent Senior Living
At Camelot Place we enjoy a wonderful atmosphere in a beautiful building with comfortable surroundings. Far beyond that, we share love each and every day. On any day of the week you can feel the positive energy and thriving socialization. Our residents share and treasure each other’s company from dawn to dusk. At Camelot Place, all staff members have only the residents’ best interest's in mind when making any decision. The staff is empowered to make decisions that will propel our residents’ happiness.
The retirement activities at Camelot Place serve a variety of tastes for the residents and their loved ones. Just a few of the activities include art classes presented by the president of the Medina Art League, age appropriate exercise programs directed by a fitness instructor, entertainment provided by local talent, area school programs preformed by the students and presentations by local historical societies. Input given by residents’ interests drive our daily retirement activities from Bingo to horse racing to cards to trivia to board games to spiritual services to mind stimulating programs. Our weekly happy hour combines both socialization and interaction complete with cocktails and crossword puzzles hosted by the executive director.

Partnering with the Community
Camelot Place involves the community in weekly, bi-monthly and monthly meetings and gatherings. Weekly meetings for the church based, nationally serving organization, Faith in Action, a United Way organization, provide the fund raising committee a comfortable place to meet for their breakfast meeting. Our community relations director is on this committee. St. Francis Xavier meets every quarter and enjoys a wonderful meal provided by our five-star dining services. These events are very interactive with visitors, residents and staff members.
Camelot Place is an essential part of the Medina Community. Here are just a few of the outreach programs our residents and staff are jointly involved as active and vibrant partners in the greater community: the mayor's election night party, the chief of police speaking to our residents about mail fraud and security, the school superintendent providing a presentation about new and exciting aspects of our school system, an intergenerational day with 103 local middle school students participating in various, engaging programs with all of our residents, and fundraising events for local non-profit organizations supporting the senior citizens in our area.
Fine Dining
We are lucky to have an award winning executive chef who has been with us for 14 years. We provide three meals a day, homemade soup at both lunch and dinner, and outstanding desserts. Meals are served restaurant-style so that residents can enjoy conversation with the company at their table while enjoying a satisfying culinary experience.
