We take pride in our life enrichment program, making sure that each resident's life story is recognized with meaningful, quality activities. Our interactions with residents reflect and honor their hobbies, interests, passions, spirituality and ultimately their lifetimes. It's OK to make some noise, have some fun, laugh, and enjoy our children, grandchildren and pets! That's what makes Emeritus home.

In addition to our life enrichment program, there are planned activities and events that are highly anticipated by our residents and families. Each month, we host a family party which is more than your typical sit-down dinner. How about Jamaican-style Bingo-Rama, man! Or a good old-fashioned Crystal Beach party (if you're from the area, you went there as a kid and enjoyed the Comet roller coaster and loganberry)! Or how about the annual Snowman Festival - which gets media attention every year. Families team up to build the most creative, unique snow-creation possible outside their loved one's window. Can you beat a dalmatian with a firefighter's helmet? How about a snowman standing on his head?

Partnering with the Local Community

To support our Emeritus families, we offer educational seminars on varying topics, from financial resources, to veteran’s benefits, to memory care. The community relations team seeks out new and informative presentations to offer a variety of resources.

Emeritus at Bassett Campus have ample community involvement on a regular basis. During the school year, middle school children will pair up with residents for our grandparent program - playing games, learning from each other and spending time making our residents smile! We actively participate in supporting and raising funds for the Alzheimer's Association of WNY, especially in September when we join the Memory Walk as a team. And every summer we march with a float in the Williamsville Old Home Days Parade - with a fun theme each year!

Fine Dining

Our dining services are provided 3 times a day for our assisted living residents and times a day (small meals) for our memory care residents. There's no need to worry about meals at Emeritus...your table is always available and the service comes to you like a restaurant! We offer choices at each meal while keeping track of special diet needs, food allergies and preferences.

Financial Solutions
