Emeritus at Colonie Manor is focused on providing the highest quality activities and social programs for our residents. To that end, we spend time with each resident individually to learn about interests, hobbies and new learning opportunities! Emeritus at Colonie Manor features a wide variety of programs designed to keep our residents healthy and engaged. From Wii tournaments to karaoke contests, there is something for everyone! Birthday celebrations, social hours and live entertainment are featured monthly, in addition to a variety of stimulating daily activities.

Partnering with the Local Community

We enjoy a close relationship with the Colonie Senior Service Centers, Inc. and have sponsored a variety of events for local seniors and their families. Colonie Manor has been an active participant in the local community since our opening in 1989. We have sponsored a variety of events with the Colonie Senior Service Centers, Inc., such as the Annual Bright Horizons Picnic. We also sponsor portions of the bingo program at The Watervliet Senior Citizens Center.
We also strive to be a resource on aging and topics related to aging for the community at large and have sponsored educational workshops and learning opportunities on topics ranging from Alzheimer’s disease and dementia to brain health and diabetes.

Fine Dining

Three homemade meals are served restaurant-style each day. Each meal is prepared using menus developed by The Crandall Corporation. Special treats are also scheduled, such as pizza parties, make-your-own-sundaes, cookouts and more!
