Emeritus at Perinton Park Manor Community Testimonials

Community Testimonials

I just love this community - it has always been one of my favorite Emeritus communities. The community is for Independent Living, Assisted Living, Short-Term/Respite Care Services, and On-Site Rehab Services. The only thing they don't offer is Memory Care which is to me because Emeritus has a wonderful Memory Care Program - but they are wonderful at providing the services they do offer. One of the things that has always stood out to me about this community is that it seem like every care level has an equal amount of resources and dedication poured into it by the staff. They really want each of their residents in each care level to have a wonderful living experience, they want them to receive care is tailored to their own individual needs and preferences - so they work so hard every single day to ensure that they're able to provide each resident with this style of care and service. I have seen the staff members really go out of their way to make sure that each resident has all that they need. It's really nice that the Independent and Assisted Living residents has access to Short-Term/Respite/Rehab service within the community if needed, this can take so much stress and pressure off the residents and their families just knowing that the care is there if it is ever needed.

The community is beautiful - the location is perfect, Fairport is such a nice place to visit and I am sure it would make a wonderful place to live. The community grounds are so open and there's lots of space for the residents to roam about and explore the grounds. I like that the building itself is set at kind of an angle, it's very home-like and inviting looking. The facility is surrounded by beautifully colored trees and shrubbery and the greenest grass ever. The facility is beautiful - its a single level (which I love) and it is made of brick - it looks like a big replica of a family home. I love that there are shutters on the outside of the windows as it looks even more like a home.

The residents all seem to really enjoy living there and they really enjoy each other - they are very close, very supportive and encouraging and protective of one another. They have created such a happy home and family that a feelings of love and security and comfort and joy just permeates throughout the community. There are so many fun activities and event and outing and such for them to enjoy as a group. Last time I was there a bunch of them were participating in some group discussion/lecture type of activity, I am not even sure what the activity was because I was too engaged in watching them interact with each other, they were having a blast talking and laughing and debating and joking around with each other - I am not even sure what the topic was supposed to be about - because they were just talking about everything - they kept jumping from subject to subject to subject and as much I tried I couldn't even begin to keep up - neither could they, but it didn't matter because they were just enjoying each other and the time they were spending together and that is what I enjoyed seeing.

Perinton Park Manor is a great, wonderful, outstanding community that I hope people do not skip over in their search for senior living. You will find all you need here, all you could ever want here.
