A Wonderful Place to Live
At Emeritus at Landing of Brockport we value our resident's opinions and feedback. Our life enrichment program is built around the specific interests of the men and women that live with us. Choices in social, physical, mental, spiritual, cultural and creative activities are seen on our monthly calendar.
At Emeritus at Landing of Brockport there is never a dull day! The calendar is packed with activities that enrich the body and soul. Each morning begins with an exercise class to keep limber and get ready for the day. Cooking Club begins at 10 and today we are making Trail Mix. At 11 we head to the main lounge to learn all about the black bears that seem to be popping up all over. A quick break for lunch and then we are back at activities. The Men's Pie of the Month Club meets at 1:30 and then we have a speaker coming in to show off his collection of antiques. At 3:00 we have happy hour with a camping theme as we pull out the tens and make s'mores! Please view our calendar to see what's in store this month!
Active Community Relationships
Emeritus at Landing of Brockport not only is located in Brockport, but we are involved in the Brockport community activities. We hold public events at our community frequently and invite all to attend. Some of our most popular events are our Concert on the Lawn and our Dog Show! We look to be a resource to the community around us and regularly hold educational seminars on a variety of subjects featuring our local and regional experts.
Emeritus at Landing at Brockport partners with local agencies and groups to help them with fundraisers, education and promote a commitment to Brockport and the surrounding areas. This year we have donated to the Brockport Schools, PAWS Animal Shelter in Albion, help support Lakeside Memorial Hospital, the Holley Rotary and the Alzheimer's Association. Our residents know how important helping others is, and we make it possible for them to continue their charity to help our community!
Fine Dining
Come on in and enjoy a cup of tea and conversation before your meal. We understand that meals are an important of living at Emeritus at Landing of Brockport. For that reason our three meals are offered restaurant-style each day. Daily choices of entrees are offered along with an "always available" menu so that your tastes can be met. Our dining services director will work with our resident care director to meet your dietary needs.
