A Wonderful Active Lifestyle
Here at Emeritus at Voorhees, our days are packed with daily activities, starting our day with exercises, going on shopping trips and excursions, having informational seminars, playing games, enjoying happy hour, movies, and mental and spiritual creative activities. Families join us for parties with live entertainment and much more. We are also involved in our retirement community. For example, our knitting club donates handmade blankets to Virtua hospital for intensive care babies.
Partnering with the Local Neighborhood Community
We at Emeritus at Voorhees are committed to our local community. We fundraise for range of great causes from the Alzheimer’s Association, to our local animal shelter to knitting blankets for cancer patients and sick babies. We also partner with our local police department, which frequently sends officers to give us seminars on senior safety. Three homemade meals are served daily, as well as snacks. We have a restaurant-style dining room with waiters and waitresses. Each meal has two seatings so our residents have a choice of dining earlier or later.
