Set on beautifully landscaped grounds with a courtyard, walking path, and an old-style front porch complete with rocking chairs, Emeritus at Stafford is considered one of South Jersey's premier senior living communities. Our common areas, including our lovely dining room, sunrooms and lounge with fireplace, give residents and their loved ones the opportunity to get to know one another. Residents also enjoy watching the classics and newly released films in our movie theater.

At Emeritus at Stafford we value our residents’ opinions and we rely on their feedback to plan activities they enjoy. These activities include exercise, happy hour and brain-healthy games. Residents enjoy a variety of live entertainment and outdoor excursions to local area attractions, such as Surflight Theatre, restaurants on Long Beach Island, and picnics at the lake.

Partnering with the Community

Emeritus at Stafford's residents and staff participate in local community events such as food drives, Toys for Tots, and Taste of Southern Ocean. Residents also craft items for local hospitals and animal shelters. We are passionate about being active in the Southern Ocean County area. Our focus is to hold events that add quality and value to the lives of others. We hold monthly Alzheimer's support groups, educational seminars to offer help with health issues and financial support. Annual events include Founder's Day Parade, ChowderFest and Memory Walk.
