As we get older, many of us naturally need a helping hand, perhaps someone to help us get ready for the day, help manage our medications or prepare special meals. Sometimes that extra help is all we need to continue living safely on our own.

Emeritus at Stafford offers all the extra help you may need, but only when and if you need it. Our full ranges of assisted living services are designed to help you maintain or improve your health, so you can live as independently as possible. To ensure we meet individual needs, we use a state-of-the-art computerized assessment system, called the WeCare, which helps us accurately evaluate, predict and monitor the appropriate assisted living services for each resident.

Memory Care Services

Some residents require more assistance due to Alzheimer's, dementia or other memory loss disorders. For these seniors, we offer an innovative program called Join Their Journey, an Emeritus Senior Living national program. The premise is simple: Our specially trained staff joins residents in their moment, rather than trying to bring them into our reality. Our goal is to get to know each resident and his or her family, so that we can offer the right support for every stage of the disease process. Through this approach, we recognize individuality, encourage choices and help residents maintain their dignity by creating a safe, personalized and familiar setting that feels comfortable for them.
