The Plaza at Sun Mountain is nestled away in a quiet residential neighborhood in the welcoming and lively city of Las Vegas. We are just off the US-95 Freeway near all the great restaurants and shopping spots. The Las Vegas Strip is just minutes from our community, making it a breeze to get around town or enjoy all the local attractions and entertainment that this city offers all year long. We are also located close to medical professionals, clinics, and hospitals should our residents need medical care.

For seniors who desire an active, independent lifestyle, Plaza at Sun Mountain cottages are an ideal retirement option. Our Independent Living retirement cottages come with two-bedrooms, two baths, full kitchens and garages -- designed to make you feel right at home.

Should you need additional personal services or help with activities of daily living, we offer the best variety of senior apartments in Las Vegas, including cozy studios, spacious one-bedroom apartments, and large one-bedroom suites – all with kitchenettes and full bathrooms. Each apartment has individual climate control and is completely maintenance free, inside and out.

Because we value the time-tested connection people have with their pets, we allow our residents to bring their small pets to live with them. Plaza at Sun Mountain was designed to maximize the views of our well-maintained courtyard and eco-friendly desert landscaping. We have two enormous covered patios for our residents to enjoy the outdoors in the shade.

Our common areas were designed for relaxation and socializing. Our restaurant, life-enrichment center and wellness center are all centrally located to make it easy to get where you are going. Residents can also enjoy reading or finding books in our library, or enjoying games in our billiards area, poker room, and board-game area. From a relaxing atmosphere to themed events to day trips, Plaza at Sun Mountain is a truly well-rounded community of care and support.

Strong, Caring Professional Relationships

We nurture strong relationships with area hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and rehabilitation centers. Through the communications and relationships that we share with key staff at these organizations, we can provide a seamless continuum of care for our residents. And depending upon what the resident needs for rehabilitation services, we will bring in outside physical, occupational and speech therapists to work with residents here on site.

Our staff motto at The Plaza at Sun Mountain is "Do the right thing." We strive to always show compassion and respect to our residents while maintaining their independence and dignity. We are blessed to have staff members who have devoted their life’s work to working with seniors. Many of our team members have been with us since we first opened in 1998. Part of the reason our staff is so trustworthy and caring is that they are passionate about what they do, and it shows in the way they take pride in their jobs and how they care for each resident with dignity, respect and humor.
