At Emeritus at Forrest Park, we value our residents’ opinions and we rely on their feedback to plan activities they truly enjoy. Many choices in social, physical, mental, spiritual, cultural and creative activities are encouraged. Residents enjoy a variety of live entertainment and outdoor excursions all with the security of knowing care is available if they need it. We also offer weekly shopping trips, and all our transportation is free of charge.
The residents at Emeritus at Forrest Park enjoy many varied activities, both on campus and away on outings in the local area. From games and arts and crafts, to social and family gatherings, we strive to keep a busy schedule that is fulfilling to all.
Active Community Relationships
Emeritus at Forrest Park is passionate about being active in the city of Hattiesburg. Our focus is to hold events that add quality and value to the lives of others. A variety of events are held within our senior living community that will nurture the spirit of the people of Mesa and to be a resource to them.
Forrest Park is proud to be an integral part of our local community. We truly enjoy hosting events, such as health fairs, educational sessions, and fundraising activities for the Alzheimer's Association. The best part of our day is when we receive visitors that have never been here before. As a reminder to any potential visitors, Friday is fried catfish day, so come hungry.
Fine Dining
Forrest Park offers restaurant-style dining, three meals per day, and all residents are offered a choice of salad, entree and desert. We encourage the residents to join their friends in the main dining room, however for those days when they may want to sleep late or entertain in their room, we offer meal delivery.
