All of us at Pine Meadow are passionate about our role in the lives of the Alzheimer's residents that we serve. Our memory care director, under the tutelage of Dr. Paul Nussbaum works within the guidelines of our Join Their Journey program to provide stimulating and life enriching activities.
Our community also offers an innovative memory care program, Join Their Journey®, for seniors affected by Alzheimer's or dementia. Because your family's experience will be unlike any other, our goal is to get to know you and your loved one, so that we can offer support and solutions for your individual situation. We "join the journey" of your loved one by recognizing individuality, encouraging choices and allowing residents the dignity to live in a secure, personalized and familiar setting that feels comfortable for them.
Amenities
Apartments:
- All secured unit with 4 private suites and 26 companion suites on one level for easy access; some furnished
- Full bath
- Curtains, blinds and wall-to-wall carpeting
- All utilities except basic cable and telephone included
- Pets welcome (up to 9 lbs.)
- Completely maintenance free, inside and out
Common areas:
- Secure community and outdoor areas, including a therapeutic garden
- Dining room
- TV room
- Activities center
- Beauty salon

Specialized dementia-related activities including:
- Red Hat Society
- Parties, socials, hobby and game groups

- Cultural enrichment programs
- Off-site excursions, including community outings to the zoo, bowling, museums and to seasonal activities in the area
