Emeritus at Towson is in a great location. We are 2-3 miles from two major interstates (695/83). There is a mall within 3 miles and dozens of stores. The community sits next door to two hospitals, which are less than a mile away. There is another hospital located about 3 miles away.

Set on beautifully landscaped grounds with a courtyard, lovely gardens and walking trails, Emeritus at Towson is considered one of the premier Maryland assisted living facilities. Located close to Highway 695, our community offers a variety of apartments all on three floors. Here our residents – in many cases, with their pets – enjoy retirement living. Yet should you need a helping hand from our warm and caring staff, we also offer complete assisted living services, tailor-made to your needs. Our services focus on wellness to help you maintain your health, so you can live as independently as possible.

A Wonderful Selection

The physical community has been described as being warm and inviting. We are currently receiving renovations, which includes painting, new carpet, a new fence for Memory Care’s outside area, and new furniture. We have a beautiful sitting area out back and a paved path for residents to walk around the entire community. Our community has an on-site beauty salon, spacious common areas, which include living rooms, libraries, and recreational areas.

With its family-friendly atmosphere, Emeritus at Towson feels like home the moment you walk through the doors. Our common areas – including our lovely dining room, library and TV room – give residents and their loved ones the opportunity to get to know one another. We also offer a wide range of activities each month, including outings to local attractions. Emeritus at Towson is conveniently located in a residential area, near Towson Town Center. Several medical facilities are also close by, including St. Josephs and Sheppard Pratt and a nursing home rehabilitation facility if ever needed.

Strong, Caring Professional Relationships

Emeritus at Towson has relationships with GBMC hospital physicians, Gilchrist hospice care, Bayada nursing and the Alzheimer’s association. Our Memory Care Director also has a relationship with the Dementia Care Consortium.

Our Staff

The staffing at Emeritus in Towson is very diverse. We have some individuals who have been at this location since it opened. The staff is very caring and hardworking. They consistently strive to live the Emeritus values as visitors often comment on how everyone is pleasant and helpful.
