Located close to I-84, our community offers 58 apartments on one floor for easy access. Here our residents — in many cases, with their pets — enjoy retirement living. Yet should you need a helping hand, we also offer complete tailor-made assisted living services provided by our cheerful, 24-hour staff and our on-site nurse, who is here every day from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. We've designed our services to focus on wellness, helping you maintain or improve your health, and our staff offers the assistance you need while respecting your independence.

Our common areas — including our lovely dining room, Library and TV room — give residents and their loved ones the opportunity to get to know one another. We also offer a wide range of activities each month, including trips to various museums, the World Center for Birds of Prey, Art in the Park and the Christmas Lights Tour during the Holidays. Summer Wind is conveniently located in a residential area close to several shopping centers, banks, Veterans Park and the Boise River. Located near the downtown area, Summer Wind provides easy freeway access to St. Luke's and St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center and is close to a nursing home rehabilitation facility if ever needed.

If you are living on your own, you can also choose to spend the day with us. Our in-house senior day programs offers health services tailored to your needs to help you maintain your independence. At the same time, you'll meet new people and enjoy meaningful activities that enrich your life, including shopping outings, live entertainment, educational programs, games and much more. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided.
